Absorbable Regenerative Wound Dressing Scaffolds for Medical Applications

ABOUT US

Sabalan Scaffold Engineering has entered the market with absorbable regenerative wound dressing scaffolds created using cutting-edge Tissue Engineering Technology. The Company has utilized bio-based wound healing materials to inhibit bacterial growth, stimulate cell growth, and enhance wound healing. Sabalan Scaffold, characterized by its unique structure and formulation, has created a microenvironment suitable for the healing process and cell growth. Furthermore, the scaffold’s controlled morphology and porosity have promoted the efficiency of absorbing and transporting drugs to the wound and have enhanced vascularization (the process of growing blood vessels into a tissue to improve oxygen and nutrient supply).

Vision

To revolutionize the present wound dressing market by developing and distributing high-quality, innovative absorbable regenerative wound dressing scaffolds that are safer and provide cost-effective care for people across the world.

Mission

To provide access to reliable healthcare solutions by improving the quality of wound care and addressing an increased wound healing need worldwide

PROBLEMS TO SOLVE

Half of the globe’s healthcare costs is due to tissue injuries. Rate of chronic wounds is growing due to diabetes, autoimmune diseases, etc. The highest expenses are for surgical wounds followed by diabetic foot ulcers. Chronic wounds are a persistent problem in the elderly population.

Traditional wound dressings need regular changing. Their adherence to the injury makes it painful when exchanging. Today, many of the skin substitute models are based on non-bioresorbable materials. They cannot be used as temporary templates like those of the native extracellular matrix (ECM).

LIMITATIONS

WHAT IS THE LIMITATION OF CURRENT TECHNOLOGY?

Pores with small dimensions prohibit cell penetration along with the structure’s thickness.
Such limitation constrains the application of electrospun fibers as tissue engineering scaffolds, especially for 3D tissues/organs.

OUR SOLUTION

  • Highly efficient tissue-engineered scaffolds for fast wound healing.
  • Excellent carriers for therapeutic agents and growth factors to accelerate healing.
  • Creating a microenvironment suitable for the healing process & neo-tissue growth.
  • Highly improved cell attachment and proliferation, as a result of our unique fiber structure.

TISSUE
ENGINEERING
IS WHAT WE
DO BEST!

The goal of tissue engineering : Providing patients with a skin substitute that can regenerate damaged tissue as quickly as possible with minimal or no scar formation.

Our product is in in the form of “Scaffold”. Artificial temporary platform applied to support, repair, or enhance the performance of a structure.
